MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome to the Tri-Valley Chapter Website!
My name is Vallery Twamugabo and I am honored to serve as the 10th President of the Tri-Valley Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc., founded on January 24, 1938, is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, who are dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. We believe every child can and will be a leader.
The Tri-Valley Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. was installed on October 23, 1994. We have proudly provided close to 26 years of service to the Tri-Valley Community, which consists of 10 cities across southern Alameda County. Our chapter members are a phenomenal group of ladies who are diverse in professional background, education and talents. As a 5 Star Chapter of Excellence, our chapter creates and executes award-winning monthly programming in support of our National Theme “The Power to Make a Difference – We Can Do More”. We believe in providing our children with unique, exceptional civic-minded and leadership experiences designed to nurture their growth in becoming future African-American leaders in our communities.
As we embark on our 26th year, we will continue to be the premier organization for African-American families in the Tri-Valley area. Thank you for visiting our website and long live Jack and Jill!
For the children,
Vallery Twamugabo
